Utah County Concrete FAQs

How long does it take to construct a new driveway?

Two days for most standard residential jobs. One day is needed to tear out the existing driveway, and the second is used to pour the new one.

How long do I have to wait before parking on my new concrete driveway?

We recommend customers allow a week. That way you'll be certain the concrete is hard enough to sustain the weight of your vehicle.

How long do I have to wait before walking on my new concrete sidewalk?

Allow up to a day so the concrete can cure.

How long does concrete last?

If maintained properly and cared for, your concrete should last over 20 years.

What’s the difference between cement and concrete?

The terms are often used interchangeably, but cement is an ingredient of concrete, while concrete is mix of sand, gravel or crushed stone and paste. Cement makes up anywhere from 10-15% of the mix. If you hear people say “cement sidewalk” or “cement mixer,” let them know they have it wrong. The proper terms are “concrete sidewalk” and “concrete mixer.”

Kind Words
From Clients

Jaime did a great job on our patio and base for our shed. I was getting quotes for concrete from many companies and most of them never showed up to give me a bid or disappeared afterward. Then there were others that were twice as expensive. Jaime actually showed up and then did a great job in great time. His prices are very reasonable, too. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat. In fact, when I have the money to do an RV pad, I will hire him again.

These guys are top notch. They did an amazing job on the coping and decking around my pool and I am having them do my rv pad next. I will refer all my clients looking for this type of work moving forward.

I just replaced a wood deck with a concrete patio and I love it. I am so pleased with the look of stamped concrete. Not having the upkeep of wood will be wonderful. The cost was almost 1/3 the estimate of a Trex deck. Thank you Jaime for a job well done!

~ Elaine Peterson on Google

Jaime and his crew did a fantastic job with our concrete. We extended our driveway and patio in the backyard and are very pleased with it. The price was comparable to others but feel like they did a better job then competitors.

~ Emily Rawlins on Google

I had them remove and replace my driveway and patio. They did an excellent job I would refer them to anyone. Jaime was awesome to work with.

I would recommend this company to any one looking to get a good RV pad put in. They came out and were friendly as I explained where and how I would like the RV pad to be next to back porch. He did what I asked and I was very happy how he conducted himself. Thank you again.
